We had a great time at the beach! It was soooo cold at the beginning! It rained the first day and there was ice on everything (including beach chairs) for the next couple days. Around the middle of the week, the temperatures got a little warmer so we could be outside more.
This was Evie's first visit to the beach as a cognizant being. At first, the ocean blew her mind. Once she could differentiate individual aspects of the ocean (like birds, the foam, the tide, the waves) she started to really enjoy going outside. Anytime anyone even opened the door to go outside, she was right there!
She enjoyed being with her Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Kat. (Grandma even taught her the word "cookie"!) Evie got a lot of fantastic presents. As for the gifts we bought her, I basically watched her at play dates the last couple months to see what she was consistently interested in, and went from there.

The pictures are beautiful, and it looks like you guys had a wonderful time:) We are jealous of your Wii, we might get one next Christmas. We tried one for the first time a few days ago, even Ella loved bowling.
