I spoke to Evie often the past couple of days about going to the doctor, that the doctor would look at her ears, her eyes, her teeth, her diaper... Evie wanted to make sure the doctor would look at her "Boo boo cheek." (She fell off a toy this weekend and bruised her cheek.)
Evie can now drink low fat milk! I recently learned that several major organic milk distributors are not exactly practicing organic farming (like Horizon!) so we have stopped drinking organic milk and just stuck to the ones that guarantee they don't use growth hormones. I can't tell you how much we have spent in the past few years on organic milk! We don't really have access to a lot of the little farms that sell milk, and when we do, they cost an arm and a leg! So I asked the doctor her opinion on organic. She said that with the way milk and foods are processed as well as the body then processing the food, there isn't any point to buying organic. Minimally processed foods, yes, but organic, no. She said she personally doesn't buy organic--best to save the money for Evie's college education. Food for thought.
Evie can also start taking a chewable multivitamin. Jesse is excited about the idea of Flinstone's vitamins. Hahaha. Apparently that makes her a "kid" now and not a baby.
Here are some random photos taken in the past week....
