She asked me about our nighttime routine, and she asked when he went to bed. I told her he mostly falls asleep on one of us at night and then we put him down when we go to bed. That's fine when they are really little, but now that he's older, she said we have to start putting him down when he is ready--it will help him have better sleep at night and possibly not wake up for feedings. I had already started thinking that way.
This week, I have been telling Evie that we were going to the doctor. "For Owen, Not for Evie, Not for Mommy" so that when we got there she wouldn't freak out. But the doctor suggested Evie get the first half of her flu shot today. Talk about betrayal. I felt awful. When she got the shot, her face got red and she made a pouty face, but she didn't cry. She was pretty stoked about getting a band-aid, and she danced her way out of the office. So it worked out. She gets the second shot at Owen's 6-month appointment. Oops.
Here are pictures from today. He's so cute!
He's so handsome! It's spooky how much he looks like Evie, too. What a gorgeous family!
