Owen is also singing a lot the past couple of days. It's been pretty funny watching him sing to his hanging dolls on his bouncey seat. He even sang to me today!
Personally, I am exhausted. Owen just went through a massive growth spurt where he ate every 2 hours, including in the middle of the night. It's tapering off, but I definitely need a vacation. Ha, ha. Ha.
Evie is shedding any little baby fat she had (except in her face). The biggest development is her language skills. She is now understanding future and past tense, as well as size, possessives, and what would you call it? age? Like, old diaper, new diaper, old juice, new juice, old bib, new bib. The list goes on and on. She understands tomorrow and yesterday. She likes to compare big and small except when it comes to dolls and animals, it's "big" and "baby" for small. She likes to tell you if it's Momma's juice or Momma's top, E's diaper or O's diaper, etc.
She had her first conversation in the store last week. This woman came up to her and said, "What beautiful hair you have, little girl!" Evie rubbed her hair and said, "Shampoo! Dada!" I translated to the woman that Daddy gives her a bath, and Evie said "Yeah!"
Evie starts Preschool the day after Labor Day for two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Evie finally has enough hair to do little pigtails! She loves them and plays with them a lot, so they don't stay in long.
She is growing out of her 2T already and into 3T. What's even crazier is that Owen is growing out of NINE months, and is nearing 12 month clothing. 16 1/2 weeks old and in 9-12 months clothing.
This weekend we are going to Montgomery to visit family. It is our first real trip with Owen. Whew! They neighbor some goats, so I will have lots of pictures!
Heee hee!
This picture is from yesterday...
Owen singing....
Mommy, pick me up!
Watching Evie eat at the dinner table.
Aww, Love the piggies! They are both growing so much. We need to get together ASAP! I have yet to sit and hold Owen. He is going to be as big as Cece soon. :)
